The Cuyler/Brownsville Campaign attempts to reduce the occurrence of crime it that particular community through the concept of “active citizenship.” Namely, this campaign is about instilling pride in one’s community in the denizens of Cuyler/Brownsville in an effort to curb crime. 4-color printed doorhangers and street-sign banners remind neighborhood residents that their community is important and that they have the power to have an active role in shaping its future.
