In Fall of 2017, I worked with the Studio Matthews team to design a set of modular exhibit displays for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Discovery Center. These displays were to be utilized to highlight emerging innovations that have the potential to greatly impact the lives of people around the world. As such, the displays were meant to be changeable and reconfigurable over time as the Gates Discovery Center team chooses to tell new innovation stories. Building off the notion of an in-progress, prototype shop, I used the visual language of pegboard and Tinker Toys to design a base system that would allow for a flexibility of  displayed components, objects, and signage. To help highlight and emphasize these new additions to the Discovery Center, I also designed window graphics and illustrations that ran the length of the exterior.
Exhibit run: December 2017 – Present
